Chris Engle works closely with his clients to help them achieve their underlying goals. Currently he is providing advice to medium size technology companies, contractors, and individuals about their business needs. Artists and inventors need business advice too, and Chris enjoys working with new entrepreneurs.

Chris Engle attended two undergraduate institutions, Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, CA and received his BA in Philosophy at the University of Washington in 1988. Chris earned his J.D. cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 1997.

While in law school, Chris was active in the Student Bar Association, the Public Interest Law Foundation (attending EqualJusticeWorks, then NAPIL, training) and on the student Board of Judicial Conduct. After graduating from law school, Chris worked on contract with two of the larger firms in the Seattle area, before moving to Spokane in 2000. While in Spokane, Chris worked for a boutique construction-litigation firm, representing contractors and suppliers in disputes with owners and upstream contractors. Chris has represented clients in complex commercial litigation in State and Federal Courts, including the Court of Federal Claims.

Chris has presented a Continuing Legal Education seminar and at client seminars. He has also served as faculty at Edmonds Community College, presenting a class on Washington's Mechanic's Lien statute.

For the past few years, Chris worked for Seattle University School of Law as a career counselor. As part of his position with the law school, Chris worked with bar committees, regional school committees and attended national conferences.
